Nestled beneath Mount Canigou and on the edge of a large mountain water lake with beautiful soft sanded beachfront (used for swimming and sailing), Vinca is a charming market town that combines the charm of a French village with the convenience of having restaurants, shops, bars and cafés. It is extremely convenient for all the main towns and visitor attractions of the region and in addition to this it is only 20 minutes from the historic Catalan capital of Perpignan, 30 minutes from the coast (Canet Plage & St. Cyprien) and 50 minutes from the main ski resorts (Font Romeu & Les Angles).

It also has the great advantage that it has a train station just a few minutes walk from the centre of the village, which means that it is an ideal place to just arrive by train, relax and unwind.

 

The house is ideal for both Summer and Winter as it has a lovely log fire for those cozy winter evenings. 

 

In addition, with the satellite television, you can keep in touch with what's going on around the world.

 

 

FLOOR PLAN

 

The living areas within the house are arranged over two floors. The lower floor is devoted to a cozy sitting/dining area with a fantastic wood-burner for those winter and spring evenings. Slightly raised above this area is the kitchen area so it's a great place to prepare your meals and chat to friends at the same time.

Moving up to the next floor, the two bedrooms and bathroom can be found. Both bedrooms have windows overlooking the narrow street below and have plenty of storage space for all your holiday needs. One bedroom has a king size bed whilst the other has been equipped with a double sofa bed. The bathroom is shared between the two bedrooms and has the luxurious benefit of having a massage shower system to relax and unwind at the end of the day.

 

Stairs then lead you up to the large terrace with spectacular views of the mountains across the roof tops of Vinça.

Bookings must be confirmed by payment of a 25% non-refundable deposit. The remainder of the payment must be paid three weeks prior to arrival. Payments are processed via Paypal which allows secure payment by credit or debit card as well as by bank transfer.  Other methods of payment available.

Guests should normally arrive after 1500hrs. Departures should normally be before 1000hrs. These times can be modified by prior arrangement.

Bed linen and towels can be provided £14 per double and £7 per single bed.
