Marquixanes is a fabulous village, peaceful and quiet but also with great amenities, such as a Post Office, Shops, Bars and a Restaurant (they also do take-aways!).  Local people come from miles around to get their patisseries from the village boulangerie. For the young at heart there is an outdoor adventure park at the river, where you can indulge in tree top climbing, zip wires, cargo nets, canyoning, kayaking and all sorts of other adventurous activities.

Accommodation in the house is arranged over three floors, the ground floor has a hallway leading to the large master bedroom (Double) with en-suite shower room and separate wc.

The 1st floor has two further bedrooms, a double and a twin, sharing a family bathroom. Worth noting is that all the bedrooms have plenty of storage space which is unusual in many village properties, this makes it ideal for those wishing to stay for a longer period.

On the top floor there is an open plan living space which incorporates kitchen, dining and sitting areas with large patio doors which open up on to the terrace.  This is a wonderful, bright, airy space that allows you to immerse yourself in the mountains themselves, the views across the roof tops is stunning.

A small utility room leads off the kitchen  and conveniently houses the washing machine and dishwasher.

Bookings must be confirmed by payment of a 25% non-refundable deposit. The remainder of the payment must be paid three weeks prior to arrival. Payments are processed via Paypal which allows secure payment by credit or debit card as well as by bank transfer.  Other methods of payment available.

Guests should normally arrive after 1500hrs. Departures should normally be before 1000hrs. These times can be modified by prior arrangement.

Bed linen and towels can be provided €15 per double and €7.50 per single bed.

For information about short stays at this property, please contact us. Midweek arrivals are possible and reductions are available for longer term stays of greater than 2 weeks.
